Customer tried to dry the area before SERVPRO was called in to finish the job

Our customer in Rockland County New York had extensive water damage due to a third floor toilet overflowing into a basement bedroom. Initially the customer tried to dry the area on their own with just a fan. However, quickly they realized that this was a bigger job then they could handle and called their insurance company and SERVPRO of Southern Rockland County to handle the job professionally. Our Production Manager Steve along with a crew of Service Technicians went to the Rockland County home and were able to assess the damage. We quickly took any material out that could not be saved and placed the necessary equipment to dry the remaining surfaces. Our customer was expecting a much longer process, but with the right equipment and constant monitoring the job was done within a few days. Then the rebuilding process can start.
