Pearl River Toilet Leak
The supply line to the toilet failed at the coupling, and water spewed for several hours in this Pearl River home affecting six rooms. Fortunately, the water was clean, not a sewage backup, so our goal was to remove the water and damaged building materials quickly. The Before Photo shows water damage to the walls and the carpet is soaked. Our WRT water damage restoration technicians first vacuumed up most of the water from the carpet and then removed it, leaving subfloor and tack strips shown in the After Photo. We performed a limited demolition--a flood cut--to minimize the replacement materials and time of the water damage project.
