Suffern Water and Fire Damage Restoration

The sticky, runny soot residues on the surfaces, both porous like the drywall, and soft, like the fabrics, are challenging to clean up and restore. The fire from this "smoking in the bedroom" mishap in a Suffern home was extinguished by the owner with a garden hose blasting out volumes of water. The good news was that there was really no structural damage, just what appears in the Before Photo. The invisible smoke odors were very heavy and significantly degraded the indoor air quality. Our SERVPRO team can set up air scrubbers and hydroxyl generators to offset these odors and restore a healthier environment. With special chemical sponges, we can wipe down surfaces and vacuum up dry ash and soot from the carpet and wash the bedding materials. The After Photo depicts the cleaned bedroom, just needing a repainting, rather than demolition of the walls and ceilings, to be "Like it never even happened."
